A: Yes, in order to be placed on a team, you must register first, attend an assessment session and then you will be prioritized to be placed on a team.
A: There will be a secondary assessment on June 21, 6-9pm at Royal Oak Middle School if players can't make either June 7 or 14, 2025. If you're a returning player and can't make any one of the three assessment days, then coaches will assign you to a team during team formation discussions after the assessment. We encourage all new players try to make one assessment session so that we can see their skill level for team assignment purposes.
A: On the registration form, there is a place for special requests. Please note, U11 and under we will do our best to create teams based on skill development and friendships, however no guarantees we can make all the requests happen. U13 and above teams are based on skill.
A: Teams will be unofficially formed and players will be notified by Aug 1st, 2025. Registration is still open until Aug 25th, so there may still be movement of players. We also cannot confirm practice days and times until September when schools are back in session for the 2025/26 school year, but we will notify all families by Aug 1st of preliminary team formations.
A: Practice date and time depend on coach's availability and gym rentals. Gym availability will be confirmed in early September when schools are back in session. We do our best to inform players and teams of the practice day and time as soon as we can.
A: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the RRBA Board no later than Aug 25th, 2025.
